Scientific investigation of anomalous phenomena through interdisciplinary research since 1874.
The Xpara Institute is an independent international research organization dedicated to the scientific investigation and documentation of anomalous phenomena. Through interdisciplinary field research, engineering, historical scholarship, and laboratory analysis, the Institute supports the systematic study of reports that fall outside conventional scientific explanation.
Established in 1874 as the XPARA Society, the organization evolved from a small learned society into an international research institute dedicated to the systematic study of anomalous phenomena. In 1932, the modern Xpara Institute was formally established, introducing standardized investigative methodologies and permanent field operations.
The Xpara Institute is not currently accepting applications for employment. Recruitment opportunities, when available, are announced through official channels.
The Public Archive Project provides public access to selected materials from the Institute Archives. Documents are released following internal review and may include case files and field reports, personnel records, engineering documentation, research notes, and other historical materials.
